Atlanta, GA Shuuuut uuup! I'm angry...ANGRY I tell you, that I havent tried this place before. A few nights ago the Other and I, wait... lets be honest, I had a craving for some highly refined, glutinous, sugary goodness so once again I turned to my trusty Yelp app. SCK popped up and since we hadnt previously been and was within walking distance we perused the dessert menu online. It was like Christmas morning. DONE! get your keys, we. are. going.... no more questions! BANANA PUDDING!? *I actually did a happy dance.* We sat at the bar and Jennifer was the bartender and truly great at her job. I ordered a drink and she could tell I didn't like it and she practically insisted that I try something new. So glad she did, I was so appreciative that she didnt consider me hassle. The dessert was EXACTLY what I was looking for. We ordered the Banana Pudding(of course) and the Bread Pudding. The Bread Pudding turned out to be fabulous! I normally dont care for it but I freely relinquished the Banana Pudding to covet the Bread. We agreed to come back for dinner later this week. *Five days later* Other and I just got home from dinner,it was perfection. Jeremy was our server and he did a great job! Paul the manager remembered us from Sunday and chatted us up for a bit *that was so nice* The cornbread was yummy, take some home! The Green Eggs and Ham was very good but I have the "thing" about runny eggs...egh! I ordered the special, scallops with potatoes and brussel sprouts. Every bite felt like a reenactment of the cafe scene from When Harry Met Sally. "Ohhhhh, Mmmmm, yes, Yessss! YESSSS!" Yeah, it was too good!! Other ordered the steak he said it was yummy. Sadly, he wasnt feeling well so we had to cut our evening short. We ordered a Bread Pudding to go. =) Tips: Make your reservation online or through the app! seriously!! That whole, "we'll just sit at the bar" mentality will have you waiting for an hour or two.
