  I've been to quite a few J. Christopher's but this is by far my favorite location. It's not that the food is any better here than at their other locations; it's more that this location has history and character. Downtown Roswell is such a fun place to spend an afternoon. It looks almost like a New England village, but you're surrounded by Southern history. For instance, you could grab a bite to eat at this J. Christopher's location and then walk down to the site of the old Roswell Mill for a nice hike. The building that houses this J. Christopher's dates back to 1854, and if you ask the wait staff, they can tell you about the Union soldier and Southern belle whose tragic romance led to this building's haunting! All J. Christopher's locations have character thanks to the eclectic collection of artwork on the walls, but this location is charming on a different level. As to the food, I absolutely love ordering off of the seasonal special menu. The pumpkin pancakes are worth the nearly year-long wait each fall. And this spring they are offering sweet potato pancakes, which are almost equally as mouthwatering. J. Christopher's also has some great options for lunch, including my favorite: the salmon BLAT--a salmon sandwich with bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato. It is SO GOOD. I love taking out-of-town friends and family to this location, celebrating special occasions, and meeting in-town friends. I'd eat here every weekend if I could.
