Description:
The High Road Ice Factory 2241 Perimeter Park Drive Chamblee, GA. 30341 James Pitt
Memories of fruit served from street cart vendors in Baja California inspired this High Road original. Each flavor is punctuated in this sorbet. Mango. Chile. Lime. Distinctly sweet, tangy and spicy, this sorbet both refreshes & invigorates. Take the High Road, and enjoy the sunshine.
Type of Meals Served:
About a year ago now, High Road began making small-batch, crazy-quality ice cream & sorbet for chefs and restaurateurs in Atlanta. Almost instantly, people began asking how they could get High Road outside of the dining scene. We had no answer. So, with the help of Twitter and Facebook, we opened our factory doors from 10A – 4P every Saturday (we still do) to folks in and around Atlanta. Today, we’re available at select high-end retailers and restaurants throughout the Southeast and Southwest, and now, you’re a few clicks away from one of the most serious ice cream & sorbet experiences of your life.

Customer Reviews & Ratings
I just got back from the Atlanta Food Rave and the most memorable thing was dessert, specifically High Road's deliciousness. Here's what I sampled: Mango or was it Passion Fruit Mango (which isn't listed on High Road's flavors page). This tasted fresh and tart, exactly the way a mango tastes, not artificial like a pint of Haagen Dazs mango sorbet at all. Bourbon Burnt Sugar. I sampled my friend's and ended up finishing it for her. The flavor name turned me off at first because I don't like bourbon and I was afraid it would be an overpowering flavor like most bourbon-flavored items. Surprisingly, it was light. I didn't see it, but I could definitely taste crystals of burnt sugar. This ice cream was really more like a light creme brulee, maybe more like a vanilla, but not too sweet. Blueberry Sour Cream Sorbet. I'm going to have dreams about this icy goodness. Maybe I'm biased because I like blueberry-flavored things. i'm not sure how else to describe it. I love how creamy it is without feeling sticky like most ice creams. This was refreshing to me. I'd have to say what I like most is that the essence of their ice cream flavors is just natural and light. I don't feel terrible after eating the ice cream and I wonder if it's the organic ingredients. I've found a new love in my life and I'm ever so thankful that the factory location is not too far from work. I'm gonna have to stock up.
